Dear Friends and fellow parishioners,
This is just a reminder that our 31st Annual Autumnfest is Saturday, September 30 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the church. It continues with our After-Autumnfest Dinner, Live Auction and Raffle on Saturday, October 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Assisi Hall, and culminates with our parish Golf Tournament, Saturday, October 21 at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start, Florida scramble format, at Riverchase Golf Course in Coppell. Join in on the celebrations.
September 30th activities kick off with the early morning run/walk at 8:30 a.m. At 9 a.m. the doors open for our silent auction, Bingo, a cast of live on-stage entertainment, family games indoors and a bounce house outdoors, a general store, sweet retreats, delicious food (American, Cajun, Philippine, African, and Ha’s famous egg rolls), a nurse’s station which includes glucose and sugar checks, outdoor arts and crafts, and our fifth annual wheels showcase. Our Wheels Showcase begins with registration at 11 a.m. and ends with judging and award distribution at 2:30 p.m. Polish your big wheels, car, motorcycle, truck, 18 wheeler, or trailer home, and contact John Furlow, . Register on line.

Tickets for the raffle and the After Autumnfest dinner, arts and crafts forms, and forms for the above events can be picked up outside of the Narthex after Mass through September 24 or stop by the parish office during the week. Volunteers are needed to help with the games, bounce house, general store, sweet retreats or to help set up or clean up. Sign up in the Narthex after Mass as a single or a family. Many hands make light work.
If you love to bake, drop off your individual packaged homemade cookies, cupcakes, cakes, breads, or candies for the cake walk or sweet retreat booths after 5 p.m. Thursday, September 28 or Friday, September 29.
General store items should be clean and ready to price (no clothes, furniture, books, or videos) and can be dropped off outside of the parish library until September 29. Drop of your Silent Auction baskets ASAP.
